Osayi-Samuel, 25, came up through the academy at Blackpool but since January 2021 has been plying his trade in Turkey with Fenerbahce.
He has been an important figure for Fenerbahce this season, playing 26 times for the side overall, but he was on the bench for last weekend’s league game against Gaziantep.
Crystal Palace are linked with the right-back and it was has been claimed in Turkey that the Eagles were close to a deal for him.
However, the links between Crystal Palace and Osayi-Samuel are wide of the mark and the Eagles are not set to sign him.
Osayi-Samuel was also linked with Serie A leaders Napoli but that move did not go through either and as things stand he is staying with Fenerbahce beyond this window.
Crystal Palace have not yet broken their duck when it comes to signings this January and they will not be doing so with Osayi-Samuel.
Palace are 12th in the table, seven points above the relegation zone, and they are linked with a move for former star Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back.
