Liverpool are toiling on the pitch and have a mountain to climb if they are to finish in the top four in the Premier League this season.
Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a possible summer swoop for Salah in the event that Lionel Messi chooses to move on.
And it has been claimed that if Liverpool do not qualify for the Champions League then Salah is prepared to leave Anfield.
Abbas Issa though has rubbished that talk and insists the prospect of an Anfield departure has not been discussed or considered.
He wrote on Twitter: “Nonsense. This was never discussed or thought about.
“Not qualifying to the Champions League hasn’t even crossed our minds.”
Liverpool were held to a 0-0 draw by an out-of-form Crystal Palace side at the weekend and now sit seventh in the Premier League table, nine points off fourth placed Tottenham Hotspur, but boasting two games in hand.
Nonsense. This was never discussed or thought about. Not qualifying to the Champions League hasn’t even crossed our minds. https://t.co/vamG8rOPvh
