Coutinho, 31, joined the Villans from Barcelona permanently last year following a loan spell at Villa Park during the 2021/22 season.

He witnessed his last season at Aston Villa marred by injuries and a lack of form, and the Brazilian featured in only 20 Premier League outings with the Birmingham outfit.

Aston Villa are now eyeing realigning their options ahead of next season and Coutinho is tipped to leave Villa Park this summer.

The Brazilian attacker has no shortage of suitors in the ongoing transfer window and it is now suggested that two Saudi Arabian clubs have offered him lucrative deals for three years.

It is also claimed that one of the offers has come from Al Ettifaq, with the Saudi outfit recently roping in Steven Gerrard as their manager.

The other Saudi suitors are still unknown and the jury is still out on whether Coutinho will be keen on moving to the Gulf country in order to find an exit route from his lacklustre stint at Villa Park.

Al Ettifaq could hope to reunite Coutinho with his former team-mate and coach Gerrard, but it remains to be seen if the Brazilian’s move from Aston Villa will eventually materialise this summer.
