Gnonto’s future at Leeds has been under the scanner since they got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season.

Leeds would want to hold on to him but several clubs across Europe sense an opportunity to get their hands on the Italy international.

Clubs in the Premier League have been keeping tabs on him but he has suitors in Italy as well where Inter want to take him to back to the San Siro.

According to Italian outlet FcInterNews.it, Claudio Vigorelli, the Leeds winger’s agent, has just left the Inter headquarters following a meeting.

Inter have their eyes on their former academy product and want to take him back to Italy this summer.

They are keeping the lines of communication open with Gnonto’s camp despite suggestions that Inter are likely to move for him late in the window.

The winger does not have a relegation clause in his contract, which gives Leeds the power to demand a big fee for his departure.

Gnonto is on an extended holiday following representing the Italy Under-21s and is due to report to pre-season training with Leeds later in the month.
