The Glasgow giants are looking to redeem themselves in the upcoming season as they finished the previous campaign without any silverware.

They are going through a squad revamp and a significant number of outgoings and incomings have taken place already under boss Michael Beale.

Forwards such as Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and Antonio Colak have bid their goodbyes whereas the likes of Sam Lammers, Cyriel Dessers and Abdallah Sima have been signed.

Beale has also been chasing Feyenoord striker Danilo and now, after multiple rejected bids, is on the verge of getting his man.

The Brazilian is set for a big wage rise when he completes the move and, according to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, he will take home €45,000 per week.

He will pocket a substantial salary increase and Rangers have demonstrated how much they want him.

Danilo played 48 times for Feyenoord last season and he scored 14 goals and assisted his team-mates four times.

He is not a regular starter at De Kuip, but Feyenoord have still been reluctant to lose him.
