Last season, the 20-year-old joined Sunderland on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain with an option to buy inserted in the clause.

Michut made a total of 28 appearances for the Black Cats, but the club decided against triggering the option to sign him permanently.

The French midfielder has attracted attention from several clubs this summer and Leeds are one of them.

However, despite an interest in the midfielder, Leeds have yet to make a concrete offer for Michut.

He is also gathering interest from German outfits Hoffenheim and Augsburg, both of them are keen on acquiring Michut’s services

According to German outlet Fussball Transfers, both clubs have enquired regarding the possibility of signing the player on a permanent or loan transfer.

It has been suggested that Leeds are still in the running to land the 20-year-old but have yet to make any offer for the player.

Michut has two more years left on his contract and it remains to be seen whether Leeds step up their pursuit of the midfielder.
