Nottingham Forest are in the market for a full-back this summer and they have their eyes on Sevilla star Montiel.

Last season, the 26-year-old featured a total of 43 times for the Spanish outfit and helped them win the Europa League.

It has been suggested that Nottingham Forest have reached an agreement with Sevilla to take the Argentine on loan.

And Montiel is flying to England to complete his medical with the Tricky Trees before signing the deal.

It is said that Montiel has an €11m option to buy clause in his contract, which could become mandatory if he reaches certain performance-based targets.

Nottingham Forest are yet to sort out some finer details of the deal with the Spanish giants, who are selling Montiel to ease their financial situation.

If all goes well, the Argentine full-back might make his debut for the Tricky Trees next weekend against Manchester United.
