Chelsea are looking to add more attacking options to their ranks before the transfer window shuts down and they are chasing candidates.

The Blues saw an offer rejected for Crystal Palace attacker Michael Olise and now they are concentrated on Palmer.

They have been looking to sign Palmer and Manchester City are believed to be open to letting the player go for the right price.

Now it has been suggested that the Stamford Bridge outfit submitted an offer worth £35m for Palmer.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side have quickly rejected Chelsea’s bid for the young Englishman.

Despite making a good start to the season by scoring in the FA Community Shield and the UEFA Super Cup, Palmer has played only ten minutes of Premier League football so far and could be open to a move.

Now it remains to be seen if Chelsea will go back with an improved offer for Palmer before Friday.
