The Reds agreed a fee with Bayern Munich for Gravenberch, of €40m, earlier this week and he arrived on Merseyside this morning.
Gravenberch has been put through his medical paces by Liverpool and come through without an issue.
It had been speculated that Bayern Munich could pull the plug on the move due to their failure to sign Joao Palhinha from Fulham, with the German window closing.
That will not happen though and it is not possible now.
Liverpool have already registered Gravenberch as their player, according to German broadcaster Sport1.
The Dutchman is now on the books at Anfield.
All eyes will be on when Liverpool make the formal announcement to confirm that Gravenberch has been signed from Bayern Munich.
