Forest have been pushing hard to take the midfielder to the City Ground this summer and they have made positive progress towards signing on deadline day.

The club have a provisional deal in place to sign the player from PSV for a fee of £30m but there is no guarantee that he will end up at Nottingham Forest by the end of the day.

Sangare’s transfer is hinging on Forest selling Brennan Johnson to Tottenham in the coming hours of deadline day.

And Bosz admitted that he cannot say with any guarantee whether the midfielder will stay at PSV or leave the club today.

The PSV coach said in a press conference when pressed about Sangare: “There is not yet 100 per cent clarity about Sangare.

“We don’t know at this point whether he will leave or stay.”

Nottingham Forest are hopeful that they will get the deal over the line to sign Sangare before the window closes at 11pm tonight.
