Beier, who turns 21 later this month, has scored four times in the first six Bundesliga games of the season for Hoffenheim.

He is having a breakthrough season in Germany and his performances have already piqued the interest of clubs in the Premier League.

Everton and Liverpool have been keeping tabs on Beier, who is rated as the second quickest player in the Bundesliga, and Brentford are also interested in getting their hands on the forward.

In what could be good news for his suitors, according to German daily Bild, he has a reasonable release clause in his contract.

It has been claimed that Beier’s contract contains a €20m buyout clause in his contract with Hoffenheim.

The release clause is a cause for worry for the German club as his Premier League suitors have the means to trigger it.

His current deal runs until 2025 and it remains to be seen whether Hoffenheim look to offer him a new contract to get rid of the buyout clause.
