Leeds are riding high after beating table toppers Leicester City away from home at the King Power Stadium last Friday.

The Whites are sitting third in the Championship standings and are now being considered as one of the contenders to break into the automatic promotion spots.

Leeds are set to host Plymouth at home at Elland Road on Saturday and Daniel Farke has already warned his players that they need to be at it to win the three points.

Matteo stressed that Plymouth will treat Leeds as one of the best teams in the Championship but the home side will still have to prove that with a performance.

He is certain that Plymouth will make a few tactical tweaks to try and nullify the Leeds forwards.

The former White said on LUTV: “They will be coming to Elland Road thinking these are one of the best teams in the league, which we are.

“But we have got to prove it.

“They will have a game plan; they usually set up 4-3-3, which a lot of teams do these days.

“We play a slightly different system and I am sure the gaffer at Plymouth will make a couple of little changes to try and nullify the forward players in our group.”

Leeds will look to avoid any upsets and continue their rich vein of form with a win at home on Saturday.
