The Dutchman has been a fringe player in the Manchester United first-team squad and has been rarely getting on the pitch this season.

Van de Beek recently claimed that he is feeling fitter than ever and is prepared to consider a move away from Old Trafford in the January transfer window.

Juventus are interested in signing the midfielder on loan with an option to buy and it seems the player is also offering his services to various other clubs.

According to Catalan daily Sport, Van de Beek has offered himself to Barcelona ahead of the winter window.

The Dutchman is keen on a move to the Nou Camp and feels he has the skill set to be part of Xavi Hernandez’s team.

Barcelona are not sure about signing players on loan for six months in the January transfer window.

However, the coaching staff are pushing for midfield signings on loan as they believe the squad need cover.
