Wolves striker Fabio Silva will complete his loan move to Rangers and sign a contract this afternoon, according to Football Scotland.

Philippe Clement is on the verge of getting one of his priorities for the winter transfer window sorted out even before it opens.

Rangers have always been keen to sign a striker and add more goals to their squad in the upcoming January transfer window.

An agreement is in place between Rangers and Wolves for Silva to move to Ibrox on loan for the rest of the season.

The Glasgow giants are making rapid progress to get the signing over the line by the end of the day.

The Portuguese forward will be in Glasgow today to complete the move and will sign his contract this afternoon.

He will only be available to play once the transfer window opens on 1st January, but Rangers are securing his signature early.

Silva has not scored this season at Wolves and has not featured in the Premier League since early November.

However, Rangers are hopeful that Clement will get more out of the player in the second half of the season.
