Tottenham Hotspur attacker Alejo Veliz left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on crutches and with a brace on his right leg after Spurs’ win over Bournemouth.

Ange Postecoglou’s side moved to within one point of rivals Arsenal by beating Bournemouth 3-1 in the Premier League on Sunday.

However, the victory was marred by injury concerns, with key midfielder Pape Matar Sarr forced off in the first half, before Veliz then hobbled off with eight minutes left.

The attacker could be looking at a period out of action as he was spotted leaving the stadium after the match on crutches.

Veliz’s right leg was also seen in a brace.

Tottenham have been rocked by a host of injuries in recent months and losing Veliz for a period of time would further reduce Postecoglou’s attacking options.

The striker scored in Tottenham’s 4-2 loss at Brighton last week.

Veliz could have considered himself as likely to play in Tottenham’s FA Cup tie against Burnley had he remained fit.
