Lyon have made a contract offer to West Ham United star Said Benrahma but have yet to send any official offer to the Hammers.

The 28-year-old winger joined West Ham on loan in the summer of 2020 and later made his move permanent in the winter of 2021.

Benrahma has featured over 150 times for the Hammers and has 24 goals under his belt.

Last season, the winger played a key role in helping West Ham lift the Europa Conference League trophy.

This season, Benrahma has failed to establish himself as a regular in David Moyes’s starting eleven and is attracting interest from several clubs.

French outfit Lyon are keen on signing Benrahma in January and according to French outlet Foot Mercato, they have sent a contract to the player.

West Ham have set a €23m price tag over Benrahma’s head and Lyon have yet to send a bid to the Hammers.

It has been suggested that Premier League outfit Fulham and Wolves are also interested in signing the West Ham star.
