Bayern Munich are on the brink of snapping up Tottenham Hotspur target Radu Dragusin after agreeing a deal with Genoa, in a development which will also have implications for Eric Dier.

The Bavarians have made a late entry into the chase for the Romania international just as Tottenham saw off Napoli and looked poised to capture the defender.

Now, barring an unexpected turnaround, Dragusin will head for Bayern Munich and it will also have an impact on a Tottenham player.

Bayern Munich have, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, agreed a fee of €24m plus €6m in bonuses for Dragusin.

The bonuses relate to Dragusin’s appearances for Bayern Munich and the club’s presence in the Champions League, meaning Genoa feel sure they will receive them.

Dragusin also has an agreement on personal terms with Bayern Munich which will see him earn around €2m per year.

The development also means that Bayern Munich are unlikely to sign Dier from Tottenham.

Dier was set to make the switch to the Allianz Arena, but Bayern Munich have turned to Dragusin.

Tottenham look set to miss out on the Romanian now, unless there are further twists and turns in the transfer saga.
