Juventus are in advanced negotiations to sign former Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson on an 18-month loan deal with a break clause in the summer.

Henderson is desperate to leave Saudi side Al-Ettifaq this month after struggling to settle down following his move from Liverpool in the summer.

He has been offered to several clubs in the Premier League and across Europe and it seems one of the clubs are prepared to gamble on him.

Juventus have come forward as a likely destination for the England midfielder in the ongoing transfer window.

According to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, Juventus have provided their approval to a potential 18-month loan deal.

The Serie A giants are also prepared to include a break clause in the agreement if Henderson wants to leave in the summer.

Juventus are also ready to bear a part of his massive salary, which would account for €1.5m as part of the deal.

The move would still hinge on Al-Ettifaq agreeing to let the player go out this month without a loan fee.

If Al-Ettifaq sell Henderson then Liverpool would be entitled to a cut of the fee, but it appears the midfielder is in line for a loan move.

The negotiations between Juventus and Henderson’s representatives are at an advanced stage and Massimiliano Allegri has ratified the potential arrival of the midfielder.
