Liverpool target Maximilian Beier has decided that he does not want to think about leaving Bundesliga club Hoffenheim during this month’s transfer window.

The Hoffenheim forward has been turning heads with his potential and his displays have not gone unnoticed.

Beier has a host of admirers, not least from the Premier League, where Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a firm fan.

According to Sky Deutschland, Beier’s suitors in the Premier League and Germany wanted to snap him up as soon as this month, even if that was just to put a deal in place for the summer.

However, the 21-year-old has now taken a decision and is clear that a January agreement is off the table.

He does not want to risk his chances of involvement at Euro 2024 by moving now and will stay put.

Beier will now focus on Hoffenheim and performing well for the second half of the campaign, rather than considering a transfer.

There is a release clause set at €30m in Beier’s contract which will become active in the summer.

And there is sure to be a queue of clubs lining up for him as the clause date approaches.
