Samsunspor have made a move to beat Leicester City to the signature of Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi.

Inter are ready to sell Sensi during this month’s transfer window and Leicester are keen.

However, the Foxes have yet to put in an offer for Sensi amid suggestions they want to shift a player out first, while Enzo Maresca has admitted to being a big fan.

Turkish side Samsunspor are bidding to take advantage of the Foxes not moving and are trying for Sensi.

Samsunspor have been in touch with Inter and slapped in a bid of €2m for Sensi, according to Turkish daily Ajansspor.

The club hope it will be enough to convince Inter and then will try to tempt Sensi to make the move.

Samsunspor currently sit in 15th spot in the Turkish Super Lig and are keen to avoid relegation.

They won the Turkish second tier last season to secure promotion to the top flight.
