Newcastle United defender Kieran Trippier has been offered to a number of clubs, including English sides, in recent days.

Trippier’s form at Newcastle has been mixed this term, but he remains a key man under Eddie Howe at St James’ Park.

With Newcastle wrestling with trying to stay on the right side of the Premier League’s financial rules though it has been suggested they may have to offload a player they would ideally like to keep.

The club are claimed to want to hold on to Trippier and are not considering letting him go.

However, according to Sky Deutschland, Trippier has been offered around to clubs, including clubs in England, in recent days.

Bayern Munich have been assessing a possible move for Trippier this month.

The German giants are admirers of the full-back and already have two English players in the shape of Eric Dier and Harry Kane.

It is suggested though that Bayern Munich’s number one target at the back is Nordi Mukiele.
