Tottenham Hotspur are not worried about the possibility of losing Ange Postecoglou to Liverpool in the summer, according to football.london.
Jurgen Klopp dropped a bombshell on Friday when he confirmed he is walking away from the Liverpool job at the end of the season.
Klopp is under contract at Liverpool until 2026, however he insists his energy to do the job is running out and he will now leave two years’ earlier.
Liverpool are looking closely at who might succeed Klopp in the summer and Spurs boss Postecoglou has been mooted as a contender.
Postecoglou is a self-confessed Liverpool fan and has impressed with his early work at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, Tottenham are not worried about Postecoglou going in the summer.
It is claimed he is excited about the project on offer in north London at the moment.
If Liverpool decide they do want the Australian and make a play for him, it remains to be seen if he could turn down his boyhood club.
