Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is not sure that West Ham target Jota would make an impact in the Premier League, according to the Evening Standard.

Jota joined Al-Ittihad last summer but has been frozen out of the squad since September.

He has not played a game for the Saudi Pro League side in the league as he is ineligible, but West Ham are pushing to sign the winger in the ongoing window.

Tottenham have also been linked with an interest in signing the former Celtic winger this month.

However, it has been claimed that Postecoglou has reservations over whether Jota has the ability to make an impact in the Premier League.

He was pivotal for Celtic under the Australian, but his former Bhoys boss is not sure about signing him for Spurs.

Tottenham have been the big spenders of the Premier League in January but are unlikely to try and sign Jota.

West Ham remain keen but they are facing a key obstacle of a tax issue in their pursuit of Jota.
