An unnamed Ligue 1 club are battling West Bromwich Albion and Bristol City for the signature of Brahima Diarra.
West Brom are in the mix for the playoffs in the Championship and Carlos Corberan is determined to strengthen his midfield to help with their promotion goals.
The Baggies boss is an admirer of Huddersfield Town star Diarra’s talents and wants to add him to his squad.
However, West Brom are not the only ones showing interest from the Championship in the midfielder’s services, as Bristol City are also keen on signing Diarra.
Liam Manning is desperate to beef up his midfield with less than 48 hours left in the window.
According to French outlet Foot Mercato, West Brom and Bristol City are also receiving stiff competition to sign Diarra from an unnamed Ligue 1 club.
The 20-year-old’s contract with Huddersfield Town is set to expire at the end of June and Huddersfield might cash in on the player in the ongoing window.
The clock is ticking though and it remains to be seen where Diarra will end up.
