Scottish champions Celtic do not have any roadblocks towards signing Norwich City attacker Adam Idah on loan, according to Football Scotland.
The 22-year-old striker has been expected to leave Norwich before the end of the transfer window on Thursday night.
Italian side Hellas Verona have been working on a deal to sign him but the forward is likely to be on his way to Scotland.
Celtic are pushing to sign him on loan but Norwich were not prepared to let him go without signing a replacement.
However, with the Canaries now on the verge of signing Sydney van Hooijdonk from Bologna, the Bhoys do not have any roadblocks towards signing Idah.
Celtic will now push to get a deal over the line to take Idah to Parkhead for the rest of the season.
Brendan Rodgers has been pushing for more signings and the Norwich striker is likely to be Celtic’s latest capture.
Idah has scored six times in 28 Championship appearances for Norwich and is now expected to spend the rest of the season in Scotland.
