Real Betis are remaining optimistic about their chances of signing West Ham star Pablo Fornals in the final hours of the transfer window.

Betis have been in talks with West Ham for several days to secure a deal to sign the Spanish midfielder in the ongoing winter transfer window.

West Ham rejected an offer from the Spanish side earlier this week but Betis have been expected to table an improved offer.

With only hours left in the window, the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement for Fornals’ proposed move to Betis.

However, according to Spanish outlet Onda Betica, Betis remain confident that an agreement will be worked out in the coming hours.

The talks between the two clubs are still ongoing and Betis are getting closer to meeting West Ham’s demands.

The Hammers are prepared to let Fornals leave but they need his departure to make financial sense.

The midfielder has long given his consent to a transfer to Betis and has been patiently waiting for the clubs to work out a deal for his move.
