Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has reservations about signing West Ham winger Maxwel Cornet, according to the Daily Mail.

Cornet has hardly played at West Ham this season and the Hammers have been keen to move him on in the winter transfer window.

Crystal Palace have been in talks with West Ham over signing the winger on the final day of the transfer window.

Cornet was expected to travel to Crystal Palace today to complete the move but the negotiations have hit a snag.

It has been claimed that Eagles manager Hodgson is not sold on signing Cornet on transfer deadline day.

The Crystal Palace boss has reservations about Cornet and his suitability for the Eagles squad this season.

It remains to be seen whether Palace manage to talk Hodgson around and convince him to sanction the move.

Crystal Palace are on the verge of signing Adam Wharton and are pushing to bring in more reinforcements.

West Ham remain keen to move Cornet on before the transfer window closes tonight.
