Sunderland youngster Josh Robertson has travelled to Brighton to finalise a move, according to the Daily Mail.

 

The 18-year-old midfielder has come through Sunderland’s academy system and is highly rated.

 

Robertson is a regular in Sunderland’s development side and turned some heads with his performances this season.

 

 

 

He has attracted interest from Premier League outfit Brighton, who are keen on securing his signature.

 

Robertson’s contract with Sunderland is set to expire at the end of May and the player has yet to sign a new contract with the Black Cats.

 

 

Now It has been claimed the Sunderland youngster is in Brighton to finalise a move with the Premier League outfit.

 

The 18-year-old has yet to feature for Sunderland’s senior team and Brighton have managed to utilise the contractual uncertainty of Robertson to convince him of a move.

 

 

And if all goes well, then the teenager is set to become Brighton’s latest addition to the squad.
