Fixture: Liverpool vs Burnley
Competition: Premier League
Kick-off: 15:00 UK time

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has picked his starting eleven to entertain strugglers Burnley at Anfield in the Premier League this afternoon.

Burnley arrive on Merseyside sitting second from bottom of the league table and with just three wins to their name from 23 league outings.

Reds boss Klopp though will be wary of the potential for an upset at Anfield, as Liverpool seek to maintain their grip on the top of the Premier League table.

Burnley did win on the road just before the new year, visiting Fulham and running out 2-0 winners, while their last win at Anfield was as recent as 2021.

Caoimhin Kelleher is in goal for Liverpool this afternoon, with a back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarell Quansah, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson picked.

In midfield, Klopp selects Wataru Endo, Curtis Jones and Alexis Mac Allister, while Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez lead the attack.

Klopp can look to his bench if inspiration is needed and his options include Ryan Gravenberch and Cody Gakpo.
