Hearts would want to recoup as much of the six-figure fee they paid for Kyosuke Tagawa if he is to leave the club amidst interest from Portugal and Japan, according to the Edinburgh News.
The Scottish Premiership side signed him from FC Tokyo last summer but he is yet to establish himself at Hearts.
He is yet to score in the Scottish Premiership this season and there are already suggestions that he could leave Hearts.
It has been claimed that he is attracting interest from clubs in Japan and Portugal and could move in in the coming weeks.
The transfer window in Japan will remain open until 27th March and a few clubs in his homeland have their eyes on him.
Hearts would want to keep him as Tagawa is the only fit back-up to Lawrence Shankland they have in their squad at the moment.
However, they are likely to demand considerable money if he is to leave and as they want to recoup as much of the six-figure they paid for him last summer.
Tagawa also has suitors in Portugal where he impressed last season on loan at Santa Clara from FC Tokyo.
