Bologna are certain that they can get far more than €25m for Fulham and Nottingham Forest linked Lewis Ferguson, with Premier League clubs in contact with Italian intermediaries over a potential deal in the summer.

The Bologna captain is expected to move on from the club at the end of the season with several clubs interested in getting their hands on him.

The Scot has emerged as one of the top midfield operators in Italy since he left Aberdeen to join Bologna in 2022.

Juventus and Napoli are chasing him and he has also been linked with a move to the Premier League where Fulham and Nottingham Forest are interested in Ferguson.

There are suggestions that he could be available for €25m, but according to Italian outlet ArenaNapoli, Bologna believe that they could get far more money.

The Serie A club are expecting more clubs to get into the fray for Ferguson from Europe and the Premier League.

It has been claimed that few Premier League clubs have been in touch with Italian intermediaries over a potential deal for the midfielder.

Bologna are prepared to cash in on Ferguson and are certain that they can bring in far more than the €25m figure for him in the summer.
