Johannes Hoff Thorup has now put pen to paper to a contract with Norwich City, alongside right hand man Glen Riddersholm.

Norwich have decided that the 35-year-old FC Nordsjaelland coach is the right man to plot a promotion campaign next season.

Thorup only has 18 months experience as a manager, but he flew to England earlier this week after being picked by Norwich.

He has now put pen to paper to a three-year contract at Carrow Road, according to Danish outlet Tipsbladet.

Thorup is bringing Riddersholm with him and the former Norrkoping coach has also signed a three-year deal.

The 52-year-old will bring experience to Thorup’s managerial set-up.

Norwich have reached an agreement on compensation to be paid to Nordsjaelland and it comes in at around £570,000.

Now Thorup and Riddersholm will prepare for pre-season as they bid to shape the Norwich squad to their liking ahead of the new season.
