Newcastle United are not expecting their failure to qualify for the Europa Conference League to affect their chances of signing quality players this summer, according to The Athletic.

Manchester United’s FA Cup victory last weekend had wide ramifications for other clubs in the Premier League as well.

They qualified for the Europa League, but Chelsea were demoted to the Europa Conference League qualifiers and Newcastle completely missed out on qualifying for Europe.

Newcastle are reportedly facing problems in signing a top goalkeeper due to not being part of Europe next season.

However, the club are confident that not being in the Europa Conference League will not diminish their pitch to quality targets.

Newcastle are insistent that not being in the third-tier European tournament is not as bad as missing out on the Champions League.

The club are convinced that quality targets will still want to join in the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, there are already suggestions that the lack of European football is affecting their pursuit of Tosin Adarabioyo, who has been approached by Chelsea and Manchester United as well.
