Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott has revealed that he expects to discuss his future with Ange Postecoglou after his break.

The 22-year-old centre forward joined Excelsior Rotterdam last summer on loan from Tottenham and netted 17 goals in all competitions for the Dutch outfit.

On Tuesday, he helped the Republic of Ireland secure a 2-1 victory with a 92nd minute strike against Hungary at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Parrott is set to enter the final year of his contract with Tottenham and he admitted that he has yet to speak with the Spurs boss regarding his future.

The Tottenham forward added that he is looking forward to going on holiday and is clear he expects to be speaking to Postecoglou when he returns.

When asked whether he has had any discussions with Postecoglou regarding his future, Parrott told the Irish Independent: “No, not yet.

“I’m sure I will have those conversations after my break.

“I just want to have a holiday and go from there.”

Parrott has made four senior appearances for Spurs so far in his career and has gone out on loan five times since joining the club in 2017.
