Robin Propper could be available to face Hearts in Rangers’ Scottish Premiership opener on Saturday as he is ‘on his way’ to the Gers, according to the Edinburgh News.
Rangers have moved quickly to make sure that they have a replacement in place for Connor Goldson who joined Aris Limassol on Tuesday.
The Glasgow giants have a deal in place with FC Twente to sign Propper in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old is travelling to Glasgow now and it has been claimed that he will be put through a medical in the next 24 hours.
Rangers are not anticipating any issues when it comes to agreeing personal terms with the defender’s camp.
Propper is keen on the move and Rangers are pushing to get the deal over the line as soon as possible.
If things go according to plan, the centre-back could be in the squad to face Hearts on Saturday.
Rangers are hoping to finalise everything and get all the clearances to have Propper at Tynecastle this weekend.
