Leeds United have the view that signing one of the players they are targeting to replace Crysencio Summerville is not impossible, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The Whites have just sold Summerville to West Ham United and though they have other attacking weapons such as Willy Gnonto and Georginio Rutter, they are keen on Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe.
The 21-year-old winger has a year left on his contract Norwich and Leeds are set to table an opening bid of £7m for the player.
There are question marks over Norwich’s willingness to sell Rowe to a Championship rival and a deal is considered to be complicated.
However, a deal is ‘not thought to be impossible’ at Elland Road, with Leeds feeling they could possibly get Rowe.
Rowe is a key target and Leeds are willing to push hard to land the winger in the ongoing transfer window.
Norwich have already sold Gabriel Sara to Galatasaray and are likely to lose Adam Idah to Celtic.
There are uncertainties about whether they are willing to sell Rowe as well in the same transfer window.
And given the influx of cash from the Sara deal and potential Idah sale, Norwich are likely to have no financial need to do business.
