Bologna are considering making a move for Aston Villa and Crystal Palace target Trevoh Chalobah in the final weeks of the summer transfer window.
Chalobah has been pushed out of the first-team squad at Chelsea and has been banished from the senior squad’s facilities at the club’s training base.
Chelsea are actively seeking to move on the defender and he has suitors in the Premier League.
Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are interested in getting their hands on the Chelsea defender but he is also attracting interest from Italy.
According to Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport, he has emerged as a target for Serie A outfit Bologna this summer.
They are in the market for centre-backs and Chalobah’s ability to play in different defensive roles is also an attraction for Bologna.
The Serie A outfit are probing the possibility of signing the Chelsea defender on an initial loan deal.
Chelsea would prefer to sell the centre-back but for the moment, they do not have a concrete offer on their table.
