A club want talks with Leeds United about reducing the price they would have to pay for a Whites star.

Daniel Farke’s side had a hectic transfer window over the course of the summer as they looked to plug key gaps left by player exits.

Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter were damaging departures from the final third, while Archie Gray and Glen Kamara were other starters who left.

Leeds once again loaned out Denmark international Rasmus Kristensen and he headed to Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Bundesliga club managed to insert an option to buy into the agreement.

However, according to German outlet Fussball.News, Eintracht Frankfurt feel the purchase price is too high.

They want to hold talks with Leeds to try to reduce the price they would need to pay to sign Kristensen.

The option to buy Kristensen is set at around €13m and whether Leeds would agree to bring it down is unclear.

Eintracht Frankfurt are happy with what they have seen from the Dane and feel he is becoming a vocal influence on the team.
