One of Leeds United’s stars is close to the Elland Road exit door as he has been at an interested club’s training ground ‘this morning’ and the deal is expected to happen ‘without any issues’.
Whites boss Daniel Farke has admitted he is expecting a quiet transfer window, but also vowed the club will not fall asleep as they explore opportunities in the market.
Leeds have been heavily linked with Middlesbrough striker Emmanuel Latte Lath and look to have money to spend if required.
They are also looking to ship out players in need of game time and striker Joe Gelhardt fits into that category.
He had his medical with the Tigers on Monday without any problems and, according to the Athletic, was at their training ground ‘this morning’.
The move is expected to go through ‘without any issues’ and will be a loan.
Hull will not have any option within the loan to be able to sign Gelhardt on a permanent basis, regardless of how he performs.
Should the striker make a big splash at the MKM Stadium, Hull could look to try to negotiate a deal with Leeds in the summer transfer window.
