Juventus are planning to offer out-of-favour Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lucas Moura a way back into regular football with a loan move, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Lucas has been struggling to be Laurent Blanc's main man at PSG and has just six starts out of 12 Ligue 1 appearances so far.

The competition for places comes from Edinson Cavani, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Javier Pastore and Jeremy Menez, but Lucas has rejected any calls for an exit.

However, that may not deter Juventus, who are aiming for a record third-straight Scudetto this season.

With Paul Pogba's contract renewal hitting a few bumps, it could prompt a January approach for Lucas, who only joined PSG in the last winter transfer window from Corinthians.

Lucas will be keen to make it into Brazil's squad for the World Cup, and his time at PSG may not benefit that cause.

The 21-year-old has been criticised for his lack of goals with PSG, but Lucas has insisted there is no question of a move in the offing.

"I have a career at PSG and I intend to stay here for a long time", he said in early November. "I'm learning so much from these great players and I want to use all my untapped potential. It is a wonderful project here."
