Bayern Munich have been handed an injury blow with the news that Philipp Lahm is set to be sidelined for at least the next two games.

Lahm picked up a thigh injury in the Bavarians' 3-1 win over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League last night and will be forced to take time out to allow it to recover.

The full-back is looking at missing two games, Bayern Munich's Bundesliga match against Eintracht Braunschweig this weekend, followed by a German Cup game against Augsburg on 3rd December.

Lahm has been a key player for new coach Pep Guardiola this season, with the Spaniard even having deployed the defender as a defensive midfielder.
