Juventus manager Antonio Conte is of a player-over-manager mindset when it comes to contract renewals amid talk of his own future at the club.

Conte's time at Juventus is going swimmingly, with back-to-back Serie A titles, though the speculation around a replacement next year has never been out of the picture.

There were reports of a rift with club CEO Giuseppe Marotta as well as rumours that a replacement was being lined up for next summer.

Indeed, no less than Italy coach Cesare Prandelli was being tipped, though Conte, who is contracted until 2015, rejected all the talk.

And he today told a press conference: "At this time [my contract renewal] is not an important issue for me or for Juventus.

"We are focussed on this particular time of the season. I'm happy for the guys who are renewing because they deserved everything that is happening."

Arturo Vidal recently penned his contract extension, while Paul Pogba's is believed to be on the cards.

The latter capped his season so far by winning the Tuttosport-sponsored Golden Boy award for 2013, amid competition from the likes of Adnan Januzaj, Julian Draxler and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

"I am very happy for him," Conte added. "But I am even more pleased with the fact that he said he wanted to win a lot more."
