Alvaro Pereira has exited Italian giants Inter after an underwhelming spell, heading to Brazil to join Sao Paulo.
The flying full-back has joined the Brazilian outfit on an 18-month loan deal and now has the chance to clock up regular first team football in advance of the World Cup.

Pereira joined Inter in 2012 from Portuguese giants FC Porto, but struggled to make an impact in Serie A and was soon linked with heading elsewhere.
The 28-year-old started his career at Miramar Misiones in his homeland, before moving to Argentina with Quilmes.

He then switched to Argentinos Juniors and eventually made the leap to Europe with Romanian outfit CFR Cluj.
Pereira joined Porto in 2009 and instantly enjoyed success in Portugal, picking up a league, cup and Europa League treble in 2011.
