Borussia Dortmund look set to be without the services of winger Jakub Blaszczykowski for the remainder of the season.
The Poland international has suffered a tear in his anterior cruciate ligament, picked up against Augsburg in the Bundesliga yesterday; the match ended as a 2-2 draw.

The type of injury Blaszczykowski has picked up usually requires a period of between six and nine months on the sidelines.
That will end the winger's season and only result in him returning for the 2014/15 campaign.

The news is yet another blow for Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp, who has seen a number of players out with injury.
Dortmund sit third in the Bundesliga at present with 33 points collected from 18 games.
Klopp's men are a substantial 14 points behind league leaders Bayern Munich.
