Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen has admitted that AC Milan are interested in playmaker Adel Taarabt.

The Rossoneri are looking to hoover up the 24-year-old on a loan deal, but that could be complicated by the fact that he is already on loan at Fulham, from QPR.

Meulensteen was quoted as saying by the BBC: "There has been some interest. That is all I know so far.

"I have no concrete news."

Taarabt was not involved in Fulham's 2-0 defeat to Swansea last night, and there have been suggestions he could be involved in a loan swap deal with Milan defender Cristian Zaccardo.

Taarabt helped QPR secure promotion to the Premier League, but could not prevent Harry Redknapp's men slipping down to the Championship last term.
