Juventus are prepared to take on troubled Southampton forward Pablo Osvaldo on loan with a right to purchase, according to Sky Italia.

The Old Lady have already submitted their offer to Southampton, with Osvaldo currently under a club suspension.

The 28-year-old arrived at St Mary's last summer but has only scored three times in his 13 Premier League games.

His suspension, following a training ground incident, has further fuelled speculation of an impending exit, with Inter Milan and Fiorentina also on his trail.

Osvaldo was previously given a three-match FA ban for his part in a melee during Southampton's draw against Newcastle United in December.

His future in England is looking increasingly unlikely, even as Juventus prepare to ship Mirko Vucinic to Arsenal to make room for Osvaldo.

Osvaldo's time in Italy culminated in a two-year spell at Roma, though he was shipped out last summer with the Saints spending a reported €15m for his services.
