Razak made his senior debut for Manchester City in 2011 under then-manager Roberto Mancini, featuring against West Brom.

However, fierce competition for places at the Etihad Stadium soon forced the Ivorian to move on and he headed to Russia.

He made seven Russian Premier League appearances for Anzhi this term, along with four starts in the club's Europa League campaign.
