AC Milan have confirmed the signing of Adel Taarabt on a loan deal until the end of the season from Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

The 24-year-old, who was on a season-long loan deal with Fulham, terminated his contract at Craven Cottage to move to the Italian giants.

The attacking midfielder made 16 appearances in all competitions for the Cottagers this season, scoring once and providing two assists.

Taarabt explained after completing his move that he is delighted to join AC Milan and that he is looking forward to playing for the Rossoneri after speaking with manager Clarence Seedorf.

“I’m very happy to be here and it’s an honor to play for the strongest team in Italy”, he told Milan’s official site.

“I already spoke to Seedorf and he told me what he expects of me. I can’t wait to start playing.”

Taarabt, whose contract with QPR runs until 2016, spent two spells on loan at Loftus Road, whilst at Tottenham Hotspur, before making the move permanent in 2010.

He has also been capped 16 times by Morocco and has four international goals to his name.
