Stanek is a Czech Republic Under-19 international, however has not managed to record a single appearance for Sparta Prague's first team.

The 17-year-old stands an imposing 6ft 4in tall and will further add to the bank of goalkeepers at Goodison Park.

Stanek joins Tim Howard, Joel Robles, Mason Springthorpe and Russell Griffiths as goalkeeping options for boss Roberto Martinez.
