An El Clasico Copa del Rey final has moved a step closer after Barcelona and Real Madrid both won their respective semi-final first-leg clashes.

Real Madrid, facing Atletico Madrid at the Bernabeu, recorded a 3-0 win, putting one foot into the final.

Pepe opened the scoring with 17 minutes on the clock, before Real Madrid put their foot down in the second half.

Jese struck in the 58th minute before Angel di Maria grabbed Los Blancos' third in the 74th minute.

Barcelona meanwhile took the lead in their game against Real Sociedad in the 44th minute through Sergio Busquets.

Inigo Martinez was sent off just a minute later, while an own goal then doubled Barcelona's advantage in the second half, leading to a 2-0 win for Gerardo Martino's men.
